Search and AI visibility for valve exporters
Valves are our first vertical because we have our own test data. The findings below come from the test described above.
How buyers ask
Valve sourcing questions are specific, combining type, standard or certification, channel and region. Three questions we actually used:
- best brass ball valve manufacturers in China for US plumbing distributors
- reliable Chinese suppliers of lead-free brass ball valves NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified for the US market
- brass ball valve manufacturer in China supplying Canadian plumbing wholesalers with CSA B125.3 certification
These are our test questions, not search-volume data.
What we saw
- Engines disagree. A company mentioned often by one engine may never appear in another.
- Markets differ. The tested company appeared in 0 of 98 answers to US buyer questions. For Canadian questions one engine named it in 5 of 6 answers; the other two never did.
- A few peers take most of the voice. One peer from the same cluster was named in 36 of 126 non-brand answers; the engines named 251 distinct suppliers in total.
Facts a valve exporter's English site should state in text
- Product types, size range, pressure classes, materials
- Design and test standards (e.g. API 6D, API 600, API 598, ISO 5211)
- Certification names, numbers and validity (e.g. API Monogram, CE/PED, ISO 9001)
- Typical industries and project references
- Factory location, capacity and export markets
- Consistent legal name and contact details across platforms
